About Me

Welcome everyone!

I am Megan Coggins the main face of Coggins Farm.

Quick facts about me:

-Main job: stay at home mom of two
-Husband: Derek, builder of everything & jack of all trades, hunter, butcher, tree work etc, married since 2019
-Pets: two chocolate labs, a cat, 7 geese, 5 ducks and a lot of chickens
-Hobbies: gardening (obvious), reading (don’t look for me on Goodreads), drinking copious amounts of coffee, pre kids I hiked a lot and fished, now I’m a homebody on steroids.

Other tidbits:
-lived in a camp trailer for 18 months, while building our house in 2020
-Started growing dahlias in 2019, started with 9 from triple wren and it snowballed.
-hubby hunts and we do our own meat chickens and pigs while also doing some vegetables, hoping to grow on that scale and do more canning
-sourdough & crocheting: mastered
-thrifter, estate sale, antique shop lover
-my mother (hi mom!) big gardener and grew up going to nurseries and watching her weed her massive flower beds, said I’d never be like her and here I am 🤣
-2026 the year I decided to take the plunge from hobby dahlias to business. So thanks for following along!
